What started as a hobby in 2010 and in 2015 became a full-time job with events in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2015 we went further international and traveled to South Korea, Russia and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), not knowing at that time that many more countries would follow, but the list has become quite long. Our qualities did not go unnoticed at Mylaps with whom we signed a partnership in 2017.
When in 2021 we were in the middle of the Corona, we exchanged the Netherlands for the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). The work in the Netherlands and Belgium continued of course with the help of Martijn, Dimitri and Jesse (thanks gentlemen!).
Now towards the end of 2024 it is time for the next big step. We are going to focus on the local market in the United Arab Emirates under our own name.
In addition, we will also focus on the international timekeeping market.

SPORTS TIMING SERVICES originated in open water swimming. After a successful period of 5 years in which we already used the professional equipment and chips from Mylaps, SPORTS TIMING SERVICES officially became a partner of Mylaps Sports Timing in the autumn of 2014.
This collaboration has significantly expanded the range of equipment. From small competitions with a do-it-yourself package to large international competitions, SPORTS TIMING SERVICES has the equipment and knowledge for it.
Due to our regular presence in the Middle East for competitions, we have also entered into a very close collaboration with HopaSports. This company has a very extensive online system for sportevents and sports clubs. This collaboration allows us to offer sports organisations an extensive package of other services in addition to our usual time registration services. At the end of 2020, HopaSports acquired PremierSports, making it the largest timer in the Middle East. Of course, the connection with SPORTS TIMING SERVICES remains and we remain closely connected.
We experience that our current regular customers find it very pleasant to have all services related to timekeeping under one contact person. SPORTS TIMING SERVICES is a small company, but through our experiences, our network and our partners we can provide you with a service at a world level.
